Los objetivos de esta línea de investigación se corresponden con la utilización de bloques de construcción presentes en biomasa (furfural, 5-HMF, ácidos cinámicos, ácidos furoicos, ácido levulínico, entre otros) para la obtención de productos de mayor valor agregado, a través de procesos sustentables de síntesis orgánica.
